42yo Daniel Timberlake, from Bannockburn Victoria, will campaign the V14 Spike/Mopar in his Rookie VSDA season in 2017-18.
Coming to Speedcars from Dirt Late Models, he has previously raced V8 Dirt Modifieds & Modified Production sedans.
Dan and his three brothers grew up watching and helping their father Peter Timberlake during his highly successful & decorated sedan career, and inevitably all four boys became second generation racers.
“I grew up in a sedan family, but I’ve always loved & wanted a Speedcar".

Dan recently purchased the ex-Tim Fisher/Paul Farrell V2 and is looking forward to getting underway for the new season.
“The Speedcar will definitely be different to what I’m used to and I’m sure it will be a steep learning curve.
I’m not expecting to be at the pointy end this season, but I’m quietly confident of getting used to the car and becoming competitive along the way".
I’ve purchased proven equipment from some really good people so at least that’s a known quantity – the rest will be up to me!”
